OBJECTIVE
With a focus on improving brand recognition and visibility, Schleich Iberia viewed advertising on Amazon as an opportunity to expand its digital footprint in Spain. In August 2018, Schleich Iberia collaborated with Spain-based digital marketing agency Amazing to launch their products on Amazon.es and help accelerate sales across its product offering.
STRATEGY
We activated both Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands for Schleich and had Schleich Iberia discover value in Sponsored Brands ads as a key part of their overall strategy. This was key to the strategy, as customers could be directed to the store, driving visibility and brand awareness.
When it came to starting bids for Sponsored Brands campaigns, we started with a range of $0.08 to $0.2, let the campaigns generate interest, and set bids based on the performance of each keyword. We also used three match types (exact, phrase and broad) to maximize the way we targeted the campaigns. We promoted product discovery in the ad, giving more visibility to flagship products and new launches.
